Sportsmen’s Retreat

Do you love the outdoors and enjoy shooting, archery, and hunting? Do you need a break from your job and a chance to get outdoors? If so, check out our Sportsmen’s Retreat!

Whether you’re a veteran marksman or new to shooting, archery, or hunting, you’ll have a great time at our Sportsmen’s Retreat. Over 650 men from all over the Midwest will join us for this weekend of shooting, fellowship, and delicious food.

For this retreat, we’ll convert our property to a series of 10-12 shooting ranges. You’ll find indoor and outdoor archery ranges, as well as outdoor ranges for pistols, skeet shooting, small-bore rifles, and high-powered rifles. Some of our ranges will even be open 24 hours/day!

If you need a break from the ranges, check out the myriad of other activities available throughout the weekend. We’ll plan chapel sessions with great speakers and worship time. There will be a silent auction with outdoor equipment and artwork up for bidding, where all proceeds benefit our outdoor summer programs like Wilderness Camp and Fishing Camp. Bring your gently used items to our Buy/Sell/Trade event to sell, or shop around for something you might need. Consider competing in our Chili Cook-off event to win free registration for the following year’s retreat. As always, you can spend time at the pool and hot tub, on the basketball court, or out on a hiking trail as well. Participate in as many or as few events as desired!

Don’t forget to bring a wild game donation for our cooks. They’ll take all the donations, from deer and elk to fish, quail, and even bear! All of those meats will be cooked up for the Wild Game Feed lunch on Saturday afternoon.

We’d love to see you at Sportsmen’s Retreat! Registration will open each November for the following year’s retreat. Housing fills up quickly so get signed up early!
